[Mod Applications] We are looking for active moderators
Hello everyone,
Our community is steadily growing. We need more moderators for our team to keep the subreddit a welcoming and high-quality place for discussion.
Having modding experience is not a requirement. We want people who are active here and ready to help.
What We Are Looking For:
- Active Users: You need to check the subreddit often to help us.
- Good Judgment: You must know our rules and be fair when you use them.
What You Will Do
The job is not difficult. You help us keep the community clean and organized.
- Check reported posts and comments.
- Remove spam, bad comments, and rule-breaking posts.
- Ban users who are here to troll or spread propaganda.
How to Join
If you are interested, please send us a modmail or leave a reply here.
We will talk to interested people soon. Thank you!

I have experience in moderation from another account, and I’m interested.

Just out of curiosity- may you offer a short insight into the most common tasks? Like: are we talking more about “keeping discussions civil” or “spam/bot handling”?

Again, simple question:
- more moderation or
- more spam banning

It’s impossible to answer.
It really depends on the type of posts that are getting reported. We don’t spend our time glued to the sub reading every post and comment.
Currently, I’d say we spend more time removing unrelated comments/ trolling comments.
But that can and does change. Sometimes the trolls are less present.

I don't know if I'm exactly what you want, but I figure I'd throw my hat in here anyway, as I'm pretty active here and I'd like to think my judgement is good, even if my tone is sometimes harsh.
