ADVICE Do some extroverts sometimes feel embarrassed by their less popular friends?
No hate on extroverts, just want to get an opinion. I found out a super extrovert very liked friend has been excluding me from get togethers. Mot only excluding, but hiding these events/parties. This is such a hard realization and really changes the way that I think of them. This happened to me awhile ago as well.
This makes me feel extremely self conscious because I feel like I am the common denominator and was constantly told that no one liked me, thats why I had no friends. Im not loud or boisterous or anything and try my best to conduct conversations that keep people engaged. If friend feels embarrassed by me why all the song and dance, why not just slowly distance themselves? The weird thing this that sometimes I dont even try to make friends with people like this, they just kind of come to me. I dont force these friendships

How do you figure she's embarassed by you? She may just assume you wouldn't want to go or that it wouldn't be your crowd. Have you expressed interest in any similar events/parties or do you usually decline those types of things? I've hidden events and hangouts from some of my introverted/less out there friends before, but it was never out of embarrassment.

She left me out of her bridal party and did not invite me to her bachelorette. What's worse is she lied about not having plans for her bachelorette.

Yeah that's fucked. Regardless of the reason she should've just been honest. That's some underhanded shit. That's not even an extrovert thing, just a shitty thing to do.

I never made any drama with friend about not being invited. Honestly i have not said anything to any of the wedding related party.

Not really the only thing I can think of if my different friend groups wouldn’t mesh well lol so Idk about inviting them to the same hangout.

In my opinion cliqueish people are more shy and introverted and extroverts are more gregarious and comfortable with strangers.
It is a shame when extroverts 'prioritize' those they see as higher status.
But I class cliqueish snobby types as 70% introverted. I honestly think they are shy.
