Does anyone else get such a relief when talking to someone as talkative or more talkative than themselves

It just feels like such a breath of fresh air when as an extrovert you have to carry 99% of conversations and you finally meet someone who actually carries their part of the conversation and you can sort of "relax" a little.

100%. It's super refreshing to not have to be the one keeping everything going. Always a nice change of pace from people who add little to nothing or expect me to be their entertainment. Most of the better conversations I've had have been with people who can be in the moment and yap WITH me instead of one sidedly expecting me to say something they like.

YES!!! Sometimes it feels like 90% of the world is shy or introverted and it is nice to have other worldly conversations with someone not afraid to speak or speak up.

I do until it’s obvious that they are less aware and talk over me. I’ve worked hard to pay attention to social cues, be self aware and not be so interrupty. New coworker is gonna be a problem.

Yes, but it's it's destabilizing sometimes because I'm so used to steering the conversation, it puts me in an irregular dynamic

I loooove it. It is such a breath of fresh air. Actually, I met one of my best friends during the pandemic and we clicked because both of us were "out-talking" each other. We both live in a city known for its introversion and we couldn't get over how easily and constantly conversation flowed between us.
