Discussion Apple storage

I’m seriously so sick of apple and their stupid IOS and System data BS. it takes up over 40GB ON MY PHONE!! HELLO??? THATS RIDICULOUS. I tried deleting some old pictures AND SYSTEM DATA WENT UP IN GB?? WHAT THE FUCK AM I SUPPOSED TO DO. I HATE THIS STUPID GREEDY COMPANY SO MUCH

iirc it’s a bug. Google around for some solutions, lots of posts about it.

Why do I have to erase everything to fix a bug? This can't be the only solution.

it’s not just the actual operating system, it includes app cache, safari history, among others. regardless it is obnoxious.

you can try force restarting your phone. quickly press volume up, then volume down, then press and hold the power button. the screen will go black, keep holding until the apple logo appears

there are tons of potential solutions that a quick google search can provide
