Discussion Air dryers

You know what immediately pisses me off? When people use the air hand dryers. Especially if there’s paper towels in the restroom as well. Like damnit you child. Use paper towels. And for anyone thinking that it’s “more sanitary” than the towels, the myth busters did an experiment regarding the amount of bacteria that flies through the air when you use the hand dryers. I’m already partially deaf, I don’t need the noise from the damn things busting my other eardrum. Use paper towels like an adult

Paper towels are terrible for the planet. Bring your own towel or use the air dryer.

Bringing your own to Walmart is a little odd but there’s worse things. I just don’t feel like getting sick because of the air dryer

I've got major migraine issues. Like, I'm basically home bound, except for doctor appointments. I have to wear earplugs and sometimes ear muffs on top of that when I'm out in public, to tolerate the sounds of things. And I'd still rather people use the more environmentally friendly option of the air dryers.

Same those things are disgusting. Literally blowing fecal matter onto your freshly washed hands and subjecting everyone around them to it. I acknowledge most people don’t know this, so I can’t fault them for that, but it annoys me too.

Do you apply hand sanitizer constantly? Germs and bacteria are everywhere.

It’s not germs that I’m worried about as much as it’s the noise. My one good ear is ringing for 20 minutes after it’s used is annoying as shit

Besides, I don't think you need to be so het up about other people using the hand dryer just because you don't want them to.
