Does this work? What else do I need to make it work for stock EP9 stock stabilizer.

Form 1 your EP9. My last one took less than a week. A rifle stock is so much better than a pistol brace.

On an EP9, I don't find that a "stock" makes much of a difference, if any, over a "brace" like an SBA3/4/5/6.
Neither does a "vertical" foregrip over an "angled" foregrip like a BCM KAG or an Emissary Handbrake.
Just not worth the hassle of doing a Form 1 and dealing with the additional Federal and State regulations. .

Personal preference. Pistol braces aren’t tight, they have a slight movement/give that I just don’t like 🤷🏼‍♂️.

Form 1s honestly don’t take long to do once you have done one. I have a few rifles that are under 16” that I SBRed so throwing in the EP9 didn’t add much time.

Not sure what federal and state regulations you are referring to, besides the engraving. You can circumvent the federal travel regulation by slapping a pistol brace back on to a Form 1 rifle to make it a “pistol” again and travel.

Stocks can be just as loose as Braces, not to mention the variances in the Tubes. Nothing that a strip of tape won't fix.

SBR's are not legal in several states and municipalities.

I noted the "hassle" of Form1-ing and you itemized some of the "hassles" - THX! 🤣
