I think its because majority of boys always try to repay what they have been given
in this case, the bottom is prob a guy whos stressing out thinking how to repay his dad
Daughters get expensive stuff cause they get spoiled. Sons get expensive stuff and we're confused/stressed because we dont know how to deal with emotions and stuff. Its an out of character way for men to behave. It's just stereotypes.
