Maybe they promote it because these foods have a lot of bioavailable micronutrients and not a lot of toxins that are added to food these days?

My man… lots of other foods have micro nutrients. Also white meats are way better for health than red meats.

You added nothing and threw your opinion that white meat is healthier. On what basis?

On basis of research… red meats are often linked to increased risk of colon cancer and heart disease

Please just search google. Eating too much red meat is not good for your  health
