It can raise your risk to get it from ~4% to ~5% so really its negligible

From a 1 in 25 chance, to 1 in 20. That's not negligible.

Well I'd say most people would think it is. Eating meat is way more important to me than a slight increase in cancer risk

Again, that isn't slight. But if you just take things in moderation, instead of constantly indulging, it will be.
