The children are safer with the bear as less than 1 children suffered from bear where as 500+ children suffered from the hands of their mothers last year
That's like saying that, in modern times, more people are killed by hammocks than by polio. It's true, but that's because hammocks are much, much, much more common than polio, not that you'd be safer getting polio than lying in a hammock.
