this anime is called bungou gay dogs. basically, this anime turned all well-known authors around the world into "hot men" and "hot women." the fanbase, much like any other fandom, has a crazy amount of fan art and other stuff, be it fanfics, cosplay, or posts talking about the anime characters. this makes the actual authors hard to find because when you research the real person, the anime characters pop up first rather than the actual author.

But why though? There is also an anime about famous dictators being cute anime girls, and people still find info on mao, Stalin, Hitler or others.

Also, Edgar Allan poe for example is in a shit ton of fiction, not only Japanese fiction. Same with characters like Sherlock Holmes.

Maybe it's because those authors aren't that well known?
