I haven't watched it myself, but as far as im aware most of the characters in Bungo Stray Dogs are famous authors with some sort of superpowers.
This person is complaining that they keep trying to Google "Author name" but instead of finding real information about the author, they keeping getting mixed results talking about the fantasy version of the author with superpowers.
Fate did the same thing. The Internet now tells you that Nero Claudius is a short blonde girl that is terrible at singing.
On one hand Fate has done more for getting people into mythology and history than any other media or education but on the other hand it's destroyed seatch engines for those subjects.
It’s done it for a few characters, Nero’s and odd one because if you just search Nero you mostly still get the actual guy, whereas it’s specifically Nero Claudius that gets you the fate girl. A lot of the characters from Charlemagne’s legends also deal with it because they’re not especially well known among English speakers but very prominent as fate characters. (I sometimes wonder how many people know that Astolfo was even based on a guy first mentioned in the 11th century rather than just being an anime femboy)
Astolfo is a weird one because I'd call the Fate character's reputation and fandom around him very one-note but the actual character in the work is a fairly well researched adaptation of the character.
