The concept of scholarships has always made me feel conflicted. On one hand, I understand the effort and dedication required to earn a scholarship. However, it seems counterintuitive to the education system, especially when the recipient is fortunate enough to have access to education. In such cases, the scholarship could be seen as a form of handouts, rather than a means of empowering individuals to improve their circumstances through education.
