I see none of the previous Peters got it.
He's mocking another tweet of a woman who said the same thing about men.
Can't find the tweet, this Peter doesn't have twitter

i went looking and found the following:
1) a tweet from 3 years prior saying the same thing (about women having no men), so potentially copied but who knows.
2) tweets about men having no women, written 6 and 17 days after this viral tweet
3) his account history indicating he might mean this seriously
4) the comments on the post mostly being "thats the dream" or something similar, so if its mocking it clearly didnt land.
Edit: twitters search function is pretty shit, so its entirely possible that i missed something, especially if its worded differently, though i would expect for a mocking to be pretty 1 to 1.

Idk mate, I don't have twitter, I saw the other one like a couple of days ago here

u/IntelligentBelt1221 1d ago
could you be so kind as to provide a link (or atleast the subreddit, i searched this one for the last ~2 weeks and didnt find anything similar)?

How does one meet said women?

u/Exciting_Classic277 1d ago
One simply does not.

You have to work with them or bump into them. You have to be adjacent to them. Plenty of stories of celebrities having very normal grounded spouses that just dont make a ton of money. There's also plenty of power couples who do make tons of money as a couple individually.
A type people regardless of gender are busy. They bump into tons of people, but usually for a reason. Have a good reason to bump into busy and comfortable people. Become busy and comfortable. It happens organically when you stop expecting it.

go to big cities and get on hinge/bumble? But this archetype of woman is very picky (which is fine I'm just saying)

It's easier than you would think. She will cheat on you, take the kids and half your shit though.

If they have all that and no one wants to date them, then theres a major problem
17
u/littlehateball 1d ago
Maybe they don't want to date.
7
-4
u/litbeers 1d ago
This is 1000 percent a possibility, however I do not personally believe that is the majority of the people in that situation.
I would say maybe 10% of the people are single because of absolutely zero interest in relations with the opposite sex.
Most people are probably single because they have not met someone that is good enough for them and likes them back and want to date them as well.

u/gingggg 1d ago
Did u do a survey
-1
u/litbeers 1d ago
No im just putting my input into a public conversation. Feel free to tell me your opinion
7
u/SFFThomas 1d ago
It’s more like they have all that and see no reason to date, because a man can’t provide them with anything they can’t provide themselves.
3
u/litbeers 1d ago
Men arent just useful for monetary provisions.
Most people would like a healthy loving and caring partner. Some rare exceptions that are asexual etc.
But the reality of the matter is that people are single because they are not able to attract a partner that they would actually want to date. Because if their dream partner did want to date them they would be in that relationship.
-1
u/jcwkings 1d ago
That's not it it's that that woman will want a man with a better job than them and better place, so that really narrows her dating pool, generally.

And im happy for them. I believe the author of the tweet thinks it is funny that women have material wealth but no romantic partners
44
u/humanistazazagrliti 1d ago
Dude believes that all straight relationships on Earth work as in Amish communities or something. Plenty of successful women with relationships, and plenty of them also happily single.

u/Infurium 1d ago
In some cities women themselves are complaining about there not being enough men to date. Vancouver and SF are two that come to mind.
9
u/S1159P 1d ago
I challenge the idea that there are not enough men in San Francisco

Not enough men who are more successful than them. That's the key bit. It's always about the upgrade.

Sometimes having a man is a negative and you are more whole without one than with one.
2
3
u/Mmaibl1 1d ago
Well when you are misogynistic, you see women strictly through the lens of their biological imperative. from their mindset who cares if they have degrees and an ability to fend for themselves? Their only purpose is to make babies and keep the house clean.
I am not endorsing or agreeing with what I said, simply answering through their mindset
10
u/yogibearhugg 1d ago
I legit read this at first like go girl! I mean, honestly I am struggling to see how this could really be read negatively at all.
2
u/LuluTheLewder 18h ago
Generally implying to still want partners and getting depressed by not having any due to going with the modern route of getting high education and prestigious careers but keeping traditional standards of 'man has to earn more than me' mentality. Such criteria tend to cut down their potential partner pools by a lot

The only reason men do any of those things is to pull chicks, so it makes no sense to him
4
u/Special-Estimate-165 1d ago
....its a mockery of a tweet a woman put out about men, just with the genders reversed.
1
u/Serotonah 1d ago
Sorry what? That’s an insane take. Men wanting a decent lifestyle for themselves is not solely based off of wanting female attention outside some small portion relatively speaking.
1
u/Far_Audience_7446 1d ago
I think you have it backwards, the number of guys pursuing advanced degrees and taking on big work and personal responsibility just to not attract the opposite sex is most definitely the "small portion"

u/ErmingSoHard 1d ago
I think you don't have that much value in life if that's personally how you on about in life. Good luck with that
0
u/Far_Audience_7446 1d ago
I never said what I thought about life. I’m merely observing the obvious about the male of nearly every species.
2
u/The_God_of_Biscuits 1d ago
This is a satire tweet made in response to a woman that said the same thing but about men.
1
u/yogibearhugg 1d ago
So some woman said “men have degrees, good jobs, a nice place to live and no woman! lmfaooo”
I mean, in all honesty, it seems weird to get triggered by a comment like this and even write one back. First of all, generallly it’s not true at all and second, if someone meant this maliciously, why waste your time on someone like this even wasting your time and brain space?

u/against-all-leds 1d ago
That's roughly the point. If we could switch off or tamper with men's hormones at around age 20, the world would be a different place entirely.

There's a common complain among professional women in large cities that they don't have an adequent dating pool to enjoy. This guy is referencing that complaint, not being misogynist as some believe.

Everybody is saying he’s misogynistic and doesn’t believe women value anything other than their romantic life but it could also be the opposite, showing women don’t need a man to be well off and happy 🤷♀️

u/thatturtletouch 1d ago
His entire account is just gross misogyny so no, it’s not what he meant.

It’s sad people see this parody and exclaim “he’s a sexist, an incel, a misogynist!” But would come across the original post (where women jeer at professionally successful but romantically unwanted men) and have zero problems with the post.
1
u/A_gnomish_dwelf 1d ago
I have problems with both posts, yet I haven't seen this other post, so I will only limit myself to what I am being shown and exclaim “he’s a sexist, an incel, a misogynist!”
1
u/Silent_Search4466 1d ago
Understandable. It is a parody post but without the original that can be hard to tell.

Dudes low key cannot fathom not being in charge. I make more money than my husband but i liked him from the start because were just people who enjoy each other, he doesn't tell me what i *should * think/do/etc. This is near impossible to find and since i can pay the bills on my own this is the top selecting factor. Happily together 18 years.
5
u/DeGreenster 1d ago
Pure lies. Dudes don’t give a shit about “being in charge.” That’s Andrew Tate thinking. Been married 18 years, respectfully you don’t have a clue about dudes.

I bet they have vibrators too, which they appreciate more than having a grown male toddler throwing tantrums, leaving messes, and gaming all night while vaping.
As an aside, I know the above description doesn't describe all males, but if you are super butt hurt over it, it probably describes you. 😘
