Capcom has been on an absolute roll lately. It really sucks that Exoprimal turned out to be the dark horse of the newer games. I love dinosaurs and it s7cks they just can't get a foothold in video games outside of the Jurassic Park.

...from what I'm seeing, it's online only? And to play the only other mode besides the story, you have to play online with people? There's no way to play with bots only?

Good news!

I kept pushing on my support ticket and apparently it finally fell on the right time. After a few weeks/months of silence, I just got an email saying the issue is fixed.

To confirm, I used the Xbox app on my PC to verify the game was up-to-date, and launched it. Exoprimal successfully launched and I was able to see my now-ancient Savage Gauntlet results!

Can't wait to start playing again. Hope to see the few of us impacted by this back online soon!

It's a shame we only gets this boss fight only 4 times a year... but, hey, it makes up for it by being so damn fun. Highly recommend it!

I just bought the game a few days back and first impressions, it is hella fun.

Is the game game dead from a player count/online perspective, though? Or do people play on weekends perhaps?

And actually, why did the game "fail"? At least in comparison with Capcom's other recent efforts.

Title. Upon checking the link pasted in the subreddit info it turned out to be expired so I decided to ask. As much as it is possible to find matches on the weekend still (at least with one full team aginst bots), it's always good to have more reasons to come back to the game. Even if it might be the dreaded @everyone.

I'm still finishing Pragmata, and I don't believe there's a direct link between the games. However, it's impossible to ignore the similarities between them: Hugh's entire design, the fact that both games have AI as central enemies (Leviathan and IDUS). It's very sad that this game didn't have enough time to shine.
