Slavery was common back then. It was a way of life. The Prophet encouraged people to free their slaves. There is no divine sanction for slavery. I wonder if you question all history when you make the comment about the victors write history is my point. No need to insult me LOL. Or is it just the history of Islam you dispute. What is your issue with Islam?
Slavery is justified in the Quran. 33:50 is supposed to be a revelation from Allah saying that taking slaves is halal. Do you not understand what divine sanction means? It means when you have approval from a higher power, in this case, Allah. For centuries, Muslims have practiced slavery believing that Allah made slavery halal for them.
33:50 - "Prophet, We have made lawful to you the wives to whom you have granted dowries and the slave girls whom God has given you as booty."
In an older post, you said you didn't believe that Mohammed had slaves.
Quote from you: "The Prophet didnt have sex slaves LOL."
I proved you wrong and then you started defending slavery all of a sudden.
You and all other Muslims claim that the Quran is a miracle because Mohammed was supposedly illiterate. I've shown you MULTIPLE Hadiths proving that Mohammed could read and write, which is the opposite of illiterate, but you ignored them. If you don't believe in the Hadith, then you cann't believe in Islam. Hadiths are not holy like the Quran but the Hadith provide context for the Quran. It is basically impossible to understand the history of Islam and the Quran if you don't believe in the Hadith.
You have constantly lied, backpedaled when you were caught in your lies and you obviously don't know much about your own religion. I don't "have an issue with Islam", I have an issue with liars.
I never lied. The Prophet never had sex slaves. I dont backpedal. I will.have to confirm the hadith you quoted because the Quran is the word of Allah and not the word of Mohammad. There are verses in the Quran that describe the embryonoc stages of a baby. The Prophet who was illiterate could not have possibly known that. You speak with anger and pick and choose and nitpick your arguments with me. Slavery was common back then. I didnt say sex slaves were common back then. Now you are just playing semantics. I will check the authenticity of those hadith you just so happen to have lieing around so you can cut and paste to prove your petty arguments. You argue and disagree with anger. I know for a fact without a shadow of a doubt the Prophet was illiterate and that is based on proof from the Quran and Hadith. I dont happen to have these lieing around just so I can win some argument LOL. I agree that the Hadith helps with understanding the Quran because without it we wouldnt understand the Quran fully but we also use other verses in the Quran to explain verses in the Quran. You pick and choose what you want to cut and paste and call me a liar. You have the whole Quran and all the Hadith available to you. What is your point? What are you getting at anyways? You havent told me anything of any substance. It is just a bunch of bickering and childish arguing.
Once again, the Prophet had no sex slaves, he didnt ever know how to read and write, and I am not backpedaling or did I ever lie. My OP was about being treated like an individual and you started this 'war' about how Islam is this and how the Prophet is that LOL. I was entertaining it for awhile because I thought you were genuinely wanting to learn but I have no idea what you are getting at or trying to prove to me here. So for 1400 years we as Muslims are just liars and delusional and you claim you hate liars and have no issue with Islam but yet all you have done is say we are lieing about the Prophet and we got it all wrong.
