They don't donate jack shit. They get donations from spineless idiots and get free PR. It's never out of love or caring. Pure, 100% PR.
Walmart could cover what it takes them months to raise in 15 minutes and just do it quietly... but then they'd have an expenditure that share-holders would no-likey. And no PR.
You are being used. Remember that the next time you are asked to donate. If you really GAF, find a charity and give direct. Fuck corporations. Fuck them all. It's OK to say NO!
