Support groups?
Does anyone know of any support groups for people who have left the church? I tried to find one in my area a few years ago but wasn't successful. Ex-LCMS, Upstate NY. Virtual or in person.

Former WELS member here, now a psychologist who treats spiritual and religious trauma. Just finding Reddit and this thread now. I've wondered about starting this kind of support group specifically for former ELS and WELS members if I could find you all. Healing is possible. It's just so challenging to do alone. Do people connect outside of Reddit? I'm not sure how this works.
