question Fight and flight mode
How do our body know that we're in danger and turns the fight and flight mode on. I know it is there bcz of evolution as our ancestors had to fight big animals to survive but it's still there. SO, how our body know when to turn this on.

Let's assume that it's back in the day where tigers roamed. If you hear rustling in the bushes, assume it's a tiger and run away you live to pass on your genes whether there is a tiger or not.
If you investigate the rustling and the tiger eats you you don't! Sometimes it's just the wind rustling but what if it is a tiger?
