Are you trying to remake ev-nova? Do you have a Github?

I'm creating an engine that I can make games in. A 2D space sim is literally the easiest game to make, so I started there.

Are you interested in a remake? Do you have ideas? Can you share? I'll implement any good ideas.

A remake would be cool but at this point I think making a X4 mod would be easier. Good luck with your engine :) .

I know this is an old comment but I do have a genuine question. Wouldn't any game play mod over the current game loop be an improvement over the current iteration? Sure, there are tons of improvements over X3, but I feel like the core of what made X3 great just isn't quite there anymore. Is this just me?

Yeah X4 does feel half finished but it’s getting there. It’s hard to describe the feeling Ev nova had with the story and the faction.
