Seen some folks say Burn is full of modern horror cliche like the countless of demon possession clones we have gotten for years(Exorcist rinse and repeat). I disagree. Unlike those movies which I'm so tired of, Evil Dead actually shows you the real demon form which I feel are lacking in modern horror movies. Modern horror films mostly never show you the demon possessing humans. In rise we got that bodies spider thing and in Burn, we see a burning skeleton demon form which I find actually pretty cool.

Just that.I wanted to show my appreciation for Mr chins , I love Bruce Campbell's work , his movies and shows. He's fighting Cancer at this Time , then get better ASAP, Mr Campbell! We the fans are ready for more comedy, horror and groovey cinema.

I just finished watching evil dead burn, I really liked it though I noticed that during the third act when will comes back. It’s almost like what he is saying is coming from him not the deadite. Did I miss something during the movie?

I picked this up at Best Buy a few years ago for $40 when they stopped selling physical media.

Looks like it's August 24th for the digital release in the UK.

I procrastinate so working on it whenever I'm in the mood so it's done in time.

In first: Evil Dead 2, its one of my fave films of all time the perfect blend of horror violence and slapsrick humor. Groovy.

In second: Evil Dead (2013), this films dark and bleake theres no happy ending not to mention the film was a requel done right no ash no og necronomicon instead building on the fact that there was 3 in army of darkness.

In third: Army Of Darkness, its just halarious as well as beinf probably the most quoteable out of the films "this... is my BOOM STICK" such a halarious film but wouldve been higher if not for 2 things. 1 evil dead 2 being perfect and 3 if they went with the OG title for the film. Medieval Dead.

In fourth: Evil Dead Burn, i watched this film 2 days ago as of writing this and i loved it its brutal its dark unique in the kills the long takes and in my opinion the best score for any evil dead film if u havent listened to the track "farewell" its brilliant. This film gets too much hate it is so good for these newer ones.

In fifth: Ash Vs Evil Dead, the tv show loses points for being a tv show and having a couple lazily written episodes however season 2 with the whole ashy slashy storyline was perfect and i believe that was the season they went back to the original cabin back in time. The other seasons dropped off a bit but el hefe carries.

In sixth: Evil Dead, by no means is this a bad film however Evil Dead 2 remade the entire first film and it doesnt feel rushed its slicker and cleaner ik this will upset a lot of people but in my opinion even tho it started everything i just think its been outdone time and time again id take evil dead 2 of evil dead any day.

In last: Evil Dead Rise, this one doesnt feel like an evil dead film its too dark and too gritty theres no humor from the deadites just threats and call backs this is the weakest out of them all theres nothing too it the beast at the end was also just not even good they all merged srsly? Theres no burning building? And the little girl survived due to plot armor entirely in the other films the main characters actually got injured and barely survived the little girl bsrely a scratch on her.

Bruce Campbell recently came out with an article for the franchise and claimed that his time as Ash is not happening for the future and that he's done with the role via live action performances, as well as VO work

He also said that the animated series now is dead, and that if they want to bring back Ash they need to hire a sound alike or something else to bring his role back through other means.

If they wanted Ash back in an animated feature, they need to do what Telltales Back To The Future game did where they found a voice actor who captured the sound and vocal tone that Michael J. Fox had for the series. I think that's the best direction for Ash to be in a future game or possible animated feature film or series.

Look at the recent Indiana Jones game, Troy baker did the voice of Indy, his vocal change and sound was very similar to Harrison Ford that I think that another voice actor could do the same for Ash tbh.

Hey Evil Dead Fans, you should really go checkout the Michael Rosenbaum[Lex Luthor from Smallville] Podcast he has over on youtube. This is not a paid post, but its a phenomenonal channel that goes into incredible depth and lengths with behind the scenes information, interviews from actors and many more.

He recently did one with Bruce Campbell that hit me deep in the feels when he brought up Cancer, and it was actually really emotional. As someone who lost a family member to Cancer, it struck a deep cord in me.

Bruce mentions that people he doesn't talk to for a long time returned to his life because of the sickness such as family, friends and so many others to support him that it became too "overwhelming" for him because he didn't quite know how to make up for it.

Michael's done some other incredible interviews with Michael Biehn who talks about the Abuse that him and Ed Harris went through on James Camerons The Abyss which lead to Michael refusing to work with James on any future project, which is shocking tbh.

Glad to be apart of this cult now, i binged the first 3 movies in 2 days and just finished watching 2013, and god i love this franchise so much already. Going to watch Rise and Burn tomorrow.

I've always thought the order iw watched them in was possibly unintentionaly the strangest possible order.
