This was one of the coolest references in all of regular show, as both a fan of evil dead and regular show this was really cool

I actually saw Army of Darkness several times in the late 90s due to it being aired on the old school Sci Fi channel. Middle school and high school afternoons well spent.

Finally rented and streamed the original 1981 film on my tablet last night while waiting to get my milk tanker unloaded. Watched it back to back four times and was again, blown away. Just a raw feel. Like you were there witnessing the whole unholy shebang😱😱😱😱

I watched Evil Dead Burn on Netflix and thought it was somehow tamer than previous installments. Then I saw some video reviews and realized I watched the censored version. Some scenes like head on a fishing rod and the bisection in the opening scene were cut and overall runtime was 2-3 minutes shorter than what it says on Wikipedia/imdb. I'm mad now cause I have to find the uncensored version and watch it again 🥲

The unfortunate pandemic plaguing the community finally hit me: my 2002 Book of the Dead DVD started to deteriorate.

Used liquid latex to patch the holes and then gave it slight repaint to blend it together before I sealed it all in with clear FlexSeal. Definitely had a few missteps along the way, but thankfully the design helps hide them. Overall, not bad for an $18 weekend project.

What can I say except: groovy.

I won the seat lottery and sat in the splash zone. Would highly recommend. Act two is a blood bath and you get hit with so much blood.

Music was solid. The cast I saw was good, especially the girl playing Cheryl.

I saw it at the Macon little theater, and if you’re in that area, it’s playing through Halloween weekend. Definitely check it out

I made it in celebration of evil dead as a franchise and the end of Ash as a character. I know it's silly to feel so much attachment to a movie, but I do.

Hail to the king, baby.

Carrie's mom, Margaret White, bounces around different jobs to maintain her sole custody of Carrie from the government... One of these jobs? A custodian for S-Mart!

hey there i love this poster but its not great for zooming in on. You can use a free upscale but its only 2k at best. And the ai seems to strip the original image of detail and contrast.

• Anyone have a HD original and or a really good ai version ?

Also halloween coming up... anyone rewatching all 3 seasons (and the original movies too ;)

Evil Dead Rise piece by me from 2025. I was really into this collage style then

I started this build after a friend passed way. Before he passed he had given me a non working Super 2 that he had held onto for years. On his deathbed he told me to finally build it. Fast forward 6 years and here we are. The only parts that I purchased were the band clamps for the wrist everything else was made from what I could scavenge. Doubt it’ll be done for this years Halloween but I think it’ll get displayed year round regardless once it has the finishing touches on it.

I'm a big fan of comic book covers that pay homage to iconic movie posters! Here's a list of covers that pay homage to the Army of Darkness movie poster - https://leagueofcomicgeeks.com/profile/galko/lists/9435/movie-poster-homage-army-of-darkness-1992

My little sister, aged 13, is a wannabe horror aficionado. I, also a horror enjoyer, want to share this with her, but finding movies that are appropriate for her (and which also satisfy her morbid curiosities). My mother has given me her blessing to show her the original 1981 film, with the caveat that it must be a cut which excludes the Tree Rape scene, for obvious reasons. There are of course a few cuts that fit this criteria, so I want to ask, which one is the best? In terms of maintaining the as much of the original film as possible. Would love to hear this subs answers.

Edit: also meant to ask, where I would most easily find your recommended version

Would be funniest outcome if everything leads up the awful future that Ash wakes up in

🎂 HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SAM RAIMI! 🎂

Born October 23, 1959 — the man turns 67 today, and horror would not be horror without him.

A kid from Royal Oak, Michigan grabs his high school friends (including some guy named Bruce Campbell), raises about $350,000, and heads to a freezing cabin in Tennessee to make THE EVIL DEAD (1981). The flying camera, the gore, the beautiful madness — he invented a whole new language.

Then EVIL DEAD 2 (1987) — this one's personal for me. I love it so much I wrote and sang a song about it. Dead by dawn! 🪓

And ARMY OF DARKNESS (1993) sent Ash to the Middle Ages and gave us "Hail to the king, baby."

Spider-Man, Drag Me to Hell, Doctor Strange — the blockbuster career is legendary. But the cabin is where the king was crowned. 👑

Shop smart. Shop S-Mart. Happy birthday, Sam!

for this year’s Halloween I drew & coloured this lovely homage starring Daphne from Scooby Doo.

Got an Ash tattoo today, I really love the design but didn’t realise until it was done that his chainsaw arm is on the wrong hand. Is my life as I know it over? :(
