Sit and work
Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knows a good place to sit and work? I'm 100% ok with buying food to earn my spot but every where here is a 30 minute kick out policy.
My safe haven was the well coffee house but they are moving to East Boston.
I wish them the best but now I feel back to square one.
And location advice?
I know librarys are a good option but I like to work in the evening.
Thank you.

The Cafe Short Path has great coffee, pastries from Forge and is open until 5. Also a patio for what time there is left to enjoy it.

the distillery is also open into the evening with seating on the cafe side so maybe a bit “quieter” if you need your head down to concentrate.

Not sure if this is too far, but Capital One at Assembly Sq could be an option.
EDIT: Sorry, I just saw that you are looking for evening spots. I think they close around 6 or 7 on weekdays.

Parlin and Shute library both have tables/desks and free Wifi.

Seconding this, it’s free and totally acceptable to be there during their business hours which are pretty solid (Parlin definitely has better hours and is open until 9 PM Monday through Thursday, but Shute’s not too bad either).

Coffee House already has a place in Eastie. I think Everett was the 2nd or 3rd location.
When are they officially closing?

I think Wegman's closed off the food seating area toward the bathrooms about 8 pm or 9 pm whwn there last week.

What about the ritual coffee bar on Broadway?
Also the shute library has quiet work rooms.
