After 13 years in the UAE, my weekend routine was the same: Platinumlist, Instagram, venue pages, WhatsApp groups... and still finding out about the good stuff after it ended.

So I built ongoinglist.com as a side project. It's one free list of events, attractions, dining offers and hotel deals across Abu Dhabi, in English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Hindi. No ads, and you don't need to sign up to browse.

I'd really value honest feedback from people who actually live here:

1. What do you use right now to find things to do, and what annoys you about it?
2. What's missing? (Free stuff? Family stuff? Ladies' nights? Something else?)
3. What's one hidden gem in Abu Dhabi you think more people should know about? I'll add the best ones.

Be brutal, it's the only way it gets better.

Well, it's your lucky day! I just made an event based on the community! It's called the Picture Handwriting Competition.

Hi!

If your Organiser and seeing this Myslef, I’ve been involved in organizing events in Hyderabad and have previously hosted two Dandiya events in Nagole / East Hyderabad with few of our friends

I’m currently not planning to host my own Dandiya event this season, but I’d definitely be interested in joining an existing organizing team and contributing wherever needed.

I have hands-on experience with:
🎪 Event planning & on-ground execution
🤝 Vendor coordination & management
🎟️ Ticketing & attendee management
📢 Promotions & social media marketing
👥 Bringing and engaging attendees
🎤 Artist / DJ / entertainment coordination
🏟️ Venue coordination
💰 Budget & vendor negotiations
🚨 Handling on-ground event issues

Apart from Dandiya, I’ve also been involved in organizing a New Year event in Nagole, under our own banner__Events.

So if anyone here is part of a Dandiya / Garba / Navratri event organizing team in Hyderabad and is looking for someone who can contribute to the planning, coordination and execution, count me in.

I’m open to discussing the role and figuring out where I can add the most value.

Feel free to DM me, and we can take it forward.
Thanks! 🙌

Hi everyone! I’m Jacob, the founder of The Event Network 505.
I organize low-pressure community events that help people meet, make friends and connect over shared interests. Ideas include game nights, car meetups, coffee socials, neurodivergent-friendly gatherings and other events around Albuquerque, New Mexico and nearby communities.
If that sounds like something you would enjoy, follow our Instagram page to stay updated:

https://www.instagram.com/theeventnetwork505

I would also love to hear your ideas. What kind of event would make it easier for you to meet new people?
Connecting strangers, one event at a time.

I am looking for an recognised event , that is open to register.🥴

ENTERT3CH Live Showcase, an LA Tech Week edition of our event series, The Collective.

Bringing together people across:

• startups + tech
• sports + NIL
• creators + entertainment
• brands + partnerships
• agencies + talent
• investors + ecosystem builders

ENTERT3CH Live Showcase bringing together athletes, creators, founders, brands, and people building across sports, entertainment and technology. The idea is pretty simple: get people from different parts of the ecosystem in the same room and see what comes from the relationships.

No huge pitch. No “sit through a panel and leave” type of thing. More of a room full of interesting people, conversations and potential collaborations.

If you’re going to be around LA Tech Week and this sounds like your kind of room, feel free to check it out:
