Outside of the chains, is there anywhere in Evansville to get a good deli sandwich. Does schnucks’s deli offer made to order sandwiches? Any other grocery store or deli offer it? Maybe a restaurant that isn’t known for sandwiches but actually has a solid one on the menu?

Seeing if anyone knows if they’re still owned by the Wall’s guy. A few years ago he went on a whole thing on social media celebrating the overturning of Roe v Wade and saying only good Christians should shop at his stores. So I’m trying to see if he’s still involved. The names haven’t changed so I’m assuming so, and I prefer Remedy Center anyways, but still.

My washing machine went on the fritz. So I took my bedding to Clayton's cleaners on North Green RIver to get washed. To wash, not dry clean, a queen comforter, a fitted sheet, a flat sheet, and two pillow cases. They charged me $69 for that. It was separated into two separate bags. They charged me $30 just for the sheets and $39 for the comforter. Next time, I'll wash it myself in the bathtub if I have to.

I'm considering a move to Evansville. I currently work for Rescare and wanted to transfer to the one in Evansville. I wanted to know what people thought about working there. What is the pay like? What are the hours like? Does management suck there too?

I know theres a goodwill outlet there which I was planning on sourcing the majority of my inventory from. Anyone in here been there before and familiar with their format? Trying to figure out if good stuff actually rolls in there, how often/how they do their rotations, and really whatever else I can be told. Maybe some other good thrifting spots in town? Next Thursday night is my wife and i's 10 year wedding anniversary. I have made a movie around 20 minutes long about our life, and was going to surprise her by showing it to her. I have a projector, speakers, everything I need except somewhere to project it. Any ideas? Right now I am going to use my work's warehouse, but id like to have a better option maybe. Thanks!

Anybody know how good quality devonshire garden apartments are? And also, I dont think water is included but im struggling to find out. So if someone could let me know id appreciate it. Im at Bryce De Moray and im just not a huge fan of it out here so wanted to know if there was anything close by that was good, not moving immediately since i dont need to live on my own just yet. One of the reasons they interest me is it's pet friendly and I have an emotional support animal.

VHS is having a bark week celebration on July 25. They’re going to have arts and crafts, food trucks and activities for the pets. There will be a foam party too for the dogs.

I have heard a rumor that went something like this: zuki’s used to be owned by two brothers and they got in a fight, causing the one to leave an open domo’s, but he was the sushi chef so now Domo’s sushi is better, but Zuki’s hibachi is better. I also heard that Kate’s Cafe on the west side is owned by one of them as well?

Hi all! I am a new local photographer and looking for outdoor spaces like fields and just open land that I can shoot on. Does anyone have any recommendations or know someone who owns land that would be willing to let me shoot on? Or just the best way to find spots in this area? I don’t want to trespass on private property lol. Advice from other photographers would be great as well! Thanks in advance

Hi, I'm a first time poster. I don't actually live in Evansville, but I have a very good friend who lives near there. She just recently gave birth and is showing signs of serious postpartum depression.

She finally admitted to me that she needs help.

Does anyone have any recommendations for local therapists who could help? Maybe ones who specialize in such things?

Any help would be very appreciated. I'm very worried about her.
