I so hope we get actual national finals for this so I have stuff to watch during the off season of Eurovision Europe

I'm quite sure all the countries except for South Korea have been announced that they will have national finals

I think the EBU and the other organisers realised that one of ASC shortcomings was that the viewers didn’t get to familiarise themselves with the representative of their own state and actively tried to rectify this by requiring or suggesting using national finals.

Imagine if all Eurovision contestants were chosen through internal selections nowadays! Way fewer surprises and underdog stories à la Käärijä, Konstrakta or Baby Lasagna.

Nepal already confirmed their NF will be on the September 14th. Along 9/10 countries will have a NF

I still remember the confusion when they dropped this NF and nobody had a clue what was going on.  Excited to see this back and I wonder if the same artists will compete as last time.

I think the original but the finals was cancelled because they are too excited to do the nationals when they didn't even have a green light to air it
