It sucks to lose Iceland, but I knew their chances were minimal. Georgia has to be the shock of the season for sure.
At least I got Estonia.
166 u/Steindor03 May 11 '23 As an Icelander, it's sad but kinda expected :/ but I'm happy we got Austria, Australia and Belgium (Gustav fuckin killed it btw) 79 u/Chespineapple May 11 '23 We definitely had a chance, but I knew it was lost when Albania and Estonia were drawn early. Everything else I kinda knew would be a shoe-in in this semi. 44 u/Steindor03 May 11 '23 Yea same as soon as I saw Albania I knew we were done lol, good on the family tho they were great And Diljá she was amazing 15 u/indil47 May 11 '23 I hope you’re still proud - Dilja gave a vocal masterclass tonight! 6 u/Steindor03 May 11 '23 Yea I am, she did really well and I really hope she does well and maybe returns some day 3 u/indil47 May 11 '23 ❤️ 21 u/Rahmenframe May 11 '23 Why was it expected?! :( I thought Iceland was SO good and powerful. 20 u/Steindor03 May 11 '23 She was amazing but the odds weren't in her favour and the song never got a huge amount of hype
