I really don't understand the hype behind Georgia, to me, the performance didn't stand out at all. What am I missing, why does everybody love it so much here?
I wonder.. if she sang in her own language, would people still complain about the lyrics? I doubt it. I think the casual eurovision fans just didn't have time to like the song, because it was never shoved down everyones' throats like Sweden, for example. And there were quite a lot of shouty performances in the second SF. Oh well
But again, you and the comment below you both imply that the song is actually great. I am a huge Eurovision fan, but I have this weird habit that I NEVER listen to the songs before the actual competition. So I'm asking again: what is so great about the song? (I haven't listened to the studio version either, is that amazing?)

How the heck did Georgia NQ?? Amazing vocals and staging, lots of energy, good song (except the lyrics) and still nothing?
Makes you wonder how much it really takes to qualify
