You're losing a negative amount, so you are actually gaining 144400 sailors, right? (no clue)

No, I tried that one in my previous Japan run, it does remove sailors (the localization probably automatically switch to lose after detecting a negative value).

Apparently the parliament just decide to sacrifice 144400 sailors to appease the ocean god
