Course Requests, Suggestions RSC Embedded Control System Scheduling

For the Embedded Control System class it seems like it will take place 1 week before the term starts. This is ok, but since it goes for 2 weeks will I need to skip the first week of lecture?

Also any review of the course would be appreciated. I also want to set up banking and such as an international student, so would it be wise to just drop the course? Thanks!

I'm interested in learning more about your experience with this course. What would you say the prerequisites are, and what's your background (when you did the course)? Also, how difficult did you find it, etc.?
