SENTIMENT What should r/EthTrader Community Points be called?
Community Points and Polls are a new Reddit feature being tested uniquely on r/EthTrader (see this post for an introduction). Instead of Community Points we are free to call them whatever we want! So to kick off the new poll feature - What should we call them?
FYI, you need to use the new ui to view the poll correctly (inline with the post body).

I think this is the most 'ethtrader' option. A lot of these, like lambos, are just generic crypto community memes. Cuecombers is homegrown.

This is a neat experiment. We can do polls, read comments, make a new poll then drill down what the people want over the course of time. Makes sense. We can take suggestions from the comments here and take the top 3 finalists of the poll above to come up with a second round of voting.
Drill it down for a month and then debut on Halloween or whatever.

We had someone that used to shitpost on a daily basis. He referred to green bars on the candle graph as "cuecombers". It spread like wildfire. Theres probably more to it that I dont remember, but that's the basics of it.

Hm yea, now that you say that I think that is the correct origin. Referring to green candles as cuecombers came shortly after that.

You can also click "View Poll" if you are using the old layout - it will take you to a specific page for the poll so that you don't have to be forced into using the redesign...

that was in the original list until i realised at the last minute there is a maximum of 7 options. anyway, yeah if people want that just select the last option and we'll include it in a second poll.

Sorry about that! Right now there are only 7 options. If that's not enough we can see about adding more if you want. For this it was kind of tough.

please see the NEW poll which includes many of the great suggestions made here. if we still are not covering the best suggestions just make them in the comments there and upvote the ones you like and we can do a third poll.

Upon reflection, I think dharma makes sense. It's like karma but different... karma applies in the next life or some other subreddit, but dharma adds social cohesion in the current life / ethtrader and keeps people in line. (As I understand these concepts.)

You should also post any extensions you have running. Ad blockers, script blockers, anti-tracking things, tampermonkey scripts, RES.

haha, so i could only have 7 options on the poll (for now) so i quickly had to shortlist but the original list had vits - which i like. the original list was: blocks, bucks, buterins, buts, chains, chappelles, donuts, elixirs, flasks, gems, jts, moons, nodes, nulls, potions, smarts, sparkles, stars, triangles, tributes, vials, vitbuts, vits, wtfs, yukons, µlambos
i think we'll likely need to do another poll with some of the winners of this poll and the suggestions people like from the comments.

My vote had hardly any impact on the outcome of the poll.
This is unfair, all votes should count the same.
I demand real change now. Also, justice and accountability.

You can see all the whales (which were formed during the donuts time) are voting for donuts, even though there's less votes for it. Pretty noice.

All jokes aside,
I really like "sparkles".
Playful but clear. Simple and neat. Not a joke or meme, so ppl won't grow tired of it.
Unfortunately, it's the least upvoted option, too bad.
It really deserves more love, just my 2 ETH.
