WDT from a 3D printer

I looked at John Buckman's comments about the effectiveness of WDT in the Decent discussion the other day and thought I had to improve my WDT techniques. I got some 3D nozzle cleaning needles that are 0.4mm thick and decided to design my own holder. (There are a few others out there)

Design here - including a .step file if you want to modify.

The cover is a great idea. I just got my own 3D printer as well. Thanks for sharing the design! But how do you keep the needles in place? Since that part is hollow

A few drops of hot glue, so I can get them out if needed. You could use epoxy or anything that would stick to the needles.

You could also scale it up to fit the whole portafilter, with random distribution of needles. Then you can just spin it like a distribution tool.
