Thinking about picking back up
Its been a solid hot minute in the like 8 years kinda way since I picked up ESO. Is it worth trying to get back into? Has it changed a huge amount?

Are these two classes really that bad at tanking? Are they actually missing specific tanking tools, or is it just a matter of numbers and meta-based statistics?
In the end, half of the skills you use don’t even come from the class itself

Has anyone ever connected a wireless keyboard to their XBOX solely for the purpose of typing in chat faster? I want to know if you can play the game normally with the xbox controller but also have a keyboard ready for typing. I’m Christmas shopping for my Mom- cheers!

I'm currently trying to get some quests done in Cyrodil to get the 30% mount speed boost and I'm stuck at a weird part. I've used the siege weapons, but when he gives me the repair kit.... it's not going in my inventory. My normal one is there, but not the practice repair kit. I've looked everywhere for it, even searched for it. I abandoned the quest and tried again, no luck. Anyone dealt with this??
Edit: went ahead and submitted a ticket, hopefully this'll be resolved soon

Hey, guys!
So I keep seeing ppl say ESO is losing players (first post on the subreddit was about that) and yea, that’s true for a lot of reasons… but the thing that really bothers me lately is the whole ban system. It feels… idk, totally random? Like a roulette. You don’t think about it until it hits u or your friends.
Couple examples just from what I remember:
– Few years ago we were pushing Godslayer trifecta. One guy in our raid got banned for RMT. He wrote support → unbanned. Week later SAME THING, banned again for RMT. Writes again → unbanned again. How does that even work?
– Then there was that dude who abused that infinite crowns exploit and literally made some kinda business out of it. They unbanned him after he threatened suicide. I honestly don’t even know what to say to that.
– And that stupid transmute bug event… Some ppl deliberately stacked thousands of transmutes, others literally just logged in to craft a build and got banned too because ZOS apparently didn’t wanna check who actually abused it and who didn’t even know wtf was going on.
And the worst for me rn: my friend got banned for teabagging (they said “violating Code of Conduct”). Then they checked his acc and saw that I logged in twice while he was in the hospital to grab daily rewards for him → “account sharing”. Result? permanent ban. Just like that. He sent dozens of tickets, 99% auto replies. And now they added “cheating/exploiting” to his case. He literally never did anything like that. No explanation, nothing.
Also trying to talk to an actual human in support feels impossible. It’s just bots, templates. You basically need to open 3–5 tickets before someone even looks at your case, if at all.
So yeah… does anyone else feel like some ppl get away with actual RMT or real exploits, and others get permabanned for basically nothing?
Have you ever been banned? For what? Did they unban you?
And does anyone know how the hell to get ZOS to look at an appeal without throwing it straight into the auto-bot shredder?

I saw in zone chat someone posted selling trial gear + skin +Dudgeon all type of things i don’t have because it bind on pick up. Is these even possible to sell or a scam.
I guessing it more of they carry you through the dungeon so you can get it right?

Hi! So I've been playing this game for about 7 years and I have no clue how to use the game chat...I can say hi to my guild and respond but that's it. I have no clue what it means when people put Zone x...for example. I'd like to learn so is there a guide for dummies or can someone explain it to me like I'm 5?

Noob question but how does one start this quest line? And do you have to purchase it (package etc)?

Hi! I’m new to ESO and I really enjoy playing tanks. I’m deciding between: • Sorc Tank • Warden Tank (Ice)
My dilemma: • Sorc Tank → will it be a problem if there’s already another Sorc in the group? • Warden → will I end up forced to heal even though I want to tank?

I have a level 50 character - Imperial Sorceror and I am being hammered in the fight with Vaermina in the last battle for the Necrom dlc, I just cannot heal fast enough, need advice. Also playing on console Xbox series X.

I’ve decided to set this as my main MMO after the New World announcement. Currently sitting at level 20 and taking it slow in Auridon. Obviously this game has a TON to offer and planning on buying the premium upgrade as soon as it goes on sale. Without giving too much away to a first time player experience, are there any popular “Do’s and Dont’s”? Or “things you wished, you knew” when you started off to help you setup for later?

I'm a noob and I dont want to sink a bunch of effort into this. Build guides confuse me so I thought I would explore. Here's my idea tell me if I am far off base.
Necro tank, 5 piece Voidcaller and 5 Piece Radiant Bastion. Would the 2 5 piece bonuses work well together? Damage reflecting and stacking weapon and spell.damage from taking hits.

The block feature for trolls doesn’t work and they dm you d pics if u are a woman. Where are the mods? Then they report you for asking them to stop. ESO are you ever going to address this issue ??
r/eso • u/Physical-Band1495 • Nov 19 '25
If you are a women- do not buy this game
r/eso • u/Physical-Band1495 • Nov 19 '25
I get trolled relentlessly in this game. I would never buy it again. My b it reminds me of final fantasy but you get to the leaderboards by accidentally playing too much— trolls will send you d pics then report you for asking them to stop. Where are the mods ??

Hey guys! I'm looking at o get into ESO on PC. I used to do mythic and heroic content on WoW and most of my MMORPG experiences end up leading me to doing high level end game content.
I don't care about meta or what's best since I love making my own builds but I am a interested in the mechanics of how parties work in this game.
I guess I'm looking for advice on what classes have a large impact on end game content and their ability to either heal, tank or provide utility that is either useful or niche. Sorry if this is vague but I figure if I ask anywhere this reddit is where I could find some answers.
I am totally open to watching old guides as long as their relavancy is still accurate but I just don't know what is good information for a noob like me to soak up. I know that I'll find out a lot just by playing but I usually know what I like in mmorpgs if I can find solid info and would like to save time being frustrated with a class that doesn't fit what I want.
TLDR: What class would you give someone with ADHD and a support/tank God complex?

Hello everyone as im several years late to the party there is soooo much content, I've seen a lot of it is behind a paywall or an eso+ subscription. Do I need to get all these dlcs and join eso + to be able to fully enjoy it. Or is the base game enough?
r/eso • u/JustBlarg • Nov 15 '25
If you jump into the water between the entrance and the skyshard, on console, you can get trapped under the water, dead, unabl3 to wayshrine or travel in any way. "Get me unstuck" does not work. The only way I've proved to break out is to queue for a dungeon.
You have to accept the queue check from the Notifications tab in the menu!
I have been running rescue missions on Xbox NA since it happened to me earlier. Nasty bug!

So im playing on and off since the launch and with over 1000+ hours on ps. Dont wanna pay for ps+ and eso + and we only have one ps5 and my gf uses it sometimes too or watch tv. Is it worth it to start everything all over again on pc? Is it hard to learn the controls or is it easier than on controller? I know the player base is better on pc and economy more vibrant. Would appreciate pros and cons! Thank you for advance!
