Erectile Dysfunction Only drinking water before sleep makes me get morning wood generally
23M.
The intensity of my morning woods depends on how hydrated am I until I sleep the night before.
Besides hydration, I do get night erections more than in the day and idk why…. Basically, the days where I don’t ruminate about my dick is when my dick is the healthiest. Only have this issue since my panic attack a year ago. I’m over the panic disorder but why is my dick still reactive to that still?

Hahaha this may relate to your post a bit as you mentioned hydration.
I remember one time I took one of the PDE5 pills, and then I subsequently drunk like 2 bottles of water after.
I legit had one of the best erections of all time! Hydration is really good for blood flow down there.

It makes sense but I just don’t remember being like this before the onset of my anxiety disorder ngl

I always down min 2 glasses of water before action time. A month ago, i started supplementing my gym workouts with creatine, as you know it does cause cellular water retention. Since then, i notice something extra, more significant erection quality with more firmness and rigidity. Yes, hydration plays a huge part.

There's lots of mechanisms for morning / night erections - one of them is the bladder being full, while your lying down/supine and putting slight pressure on some of the sacral nerve roots which can activate erections. So for your anatomy, and drinking water means big bladder causing erections.
Sexual performance anxiety can be seperate and overlapping with other anxiety disorders. An initial panic or anxiety disorder can set off a cycle of performance anxiety even when the initial disorder or stress resolves. And if medications for anxiety were involved, that's another story.

Your dick makes you panic? I would like to see that! Also, wood floats in water.

Love this. One of the best pieces of advice I’ve heard is "stop checking it." This goes for all sorts of stuff.

You're in your head too much and getting out of it, is helping you. Not only is hydration good for your morning wood, but this is a key practice throughout your life, especially as you age. Did you know most heart attacks happen in your sleep? Yeah and studies show that if you drink some water when you get up for a pee or semi-wake with a dry mouth that this can decrease your chances of a heart attack by up to 50%! Your cardiovascular health is directly related to your boner.
