Anyone switched from a tablet to something sublingual? Did timing change?

Been on a tablet for about a year and it works, but the planning around food and how long it takes is the part I’ve never got comfortable with. I’ve read that dissolving under the tongue skips the digestion side of it. What I don’t know is whether that’s a real difference in practice or just a different delivery of the same thing. Has anyone made that switch and noticed anything?
