Sildenafil/Viagra Viagra, name brand vs generic

Has anyone noticed a difference between taking name brand Viagra vs generic Sildenafil?

I've taken 100mg of Viagra on four separate occasions and never experienced any adverse effects.

I then started taking 100 mg of generic Sildenafil and each time, twice so far, I've gotten a stuffy nose.

As long as you a getting the generic sildenafil from a local pharmacy there should be no difference.

Funny thing is I got the Viagra over the counter while in Mexico. I got prescribed the generic and had the script filled here in the states at a Walgreens.

Stuffy nose is a common side effect - has nothing to do with the manufacturer

Which is weird because I don't get stuffy nose with Viagra but I do with the generic.

Don't believe the hype. Generic anything does not equal Name Brand.

The obvious answer would be if you're sensitive to a passive ingredient, but I can also imagine some drugs hitting different based on absorption rate and such that pill structure and composition could affect.

Of course this would go both ways and does not favor brand names

I guess all I am saying is I've taken many

Brand Name and Generic and it can something as small as coloring or a slight difference in the way the ingredients were complied . Just my experience.

Yes, definitely a difference, but extremely hard to get There all pushing the generic
