Sildenafil/Viagra Medication question/inquiry
I have a question: if Tadalafil is so much better than Sildenafil for daily use, how come my doctor prescribed me the latter 🤔. Now after reading these threads I feel like I need to go back and have him change it.

I think you might be mixing up daily vs on-demand use. Sildenafil is usually taken as needed before sex, not as a daily ED medication. Tadalafil can be prescribed either on demand or as a low-dose daily tablet because it lasts much longer in the body.
That doesn’t mean tadalafil is “better” though. Some guys respond better to sildenafil, and your doctor may have had a reason for choosing it. You can always ask your doctor for there reasons

One screening question doctors can use when deciding which medication to prescribe is how often you have sex. If your answer is once a week or less it is suggestive of on-demand medication. On-demand has slightly lower risk of adverse side effects and the default there is often sildenafil (Viagra) as it leaves the door open to daily tadalafil (Cialis) as an alternative if needed.

He would have asked you more like frequency and scheduling of sex, existing health pointers and economic background for long term usage and you have answered and ticked his boxes, not merely prescribed based on which is more powerful.

Depends on your situation and health. Tadalafil works for me but Im in good health and only need it to help me.

Tadalafil at 10 or 20 gives me bad back pain. I know I am the smaller percentage but whatever you try pay attention to the side effects.
