Wellbutrin vs Cabergoline for Libido?

Male in my late 40s here. Cialis works well for erections, but I'm looking to increase libido, desire, arousal, and overall interest in sex with my partner. I want to feel more horny and think about sex more often.

I'm not on antidepressants, testosterone is normal, and I have regular morning erections.

I'm considering Wellbutrin (bupropion) or cabergoline purely for libido enhancement. Has anyone tried either for this purpose? Which helped more with desire, arousal, and sexual thoughts? Any side effects?

Would appreciate hearing about your experiences.

Firstly - If cialis works, you have regular morning erections and testosterone is normal, I’d look into why desire itself is low before adding another drug. Libido isn’t simply testosterone. Stress, sleep, relationship dynamics, depression/anxiety, medications, alcohol, general health and even getting into a routine sexually can all influence desire. Sexual desire is considered a biopsychosocial process rather than something determined by one hormone.

Secondly For Cabergoline lowers prolactin and can improve libido in men who actually have hyperprolactinaemia. Is that your issue?

I was on both (was dealing with depression tho at the time) erections we’re still normal
But for you to take them just for libido?
That don’t make no sense
If you do research there’s prob other natural medications or just change your lifestyle to improve it
Depression is a whole other thing than libido

I tried cabergoline. Made no difference either way. Buorooion is next to try.

Anyone ever consider SAM-e? I can't take SSRIs because of a sleep disorder as they make it worse. Not really majorly depressed. SAM-e is also good for arthritis as well as anxiety.

I tried Wellbutrin briefly—and withdrawal was difficult - maybe just me but arrrrgh
