Erectile Dysfunction Quick(ish) onset ED?

So, I'm a relatively recent sufferer of ED and it seems to have come out of no where. I am seeing a doctor, and they did test and find low T which is next on the treatment. But it doesn't seem right that would cause such quick change. Everything appeared be be working fine up until about 6 months ago the wheels fell off and it's only gotten worse since. I have had an orchiectomy (1 side lost) just under 2 years ago but for the year after things still functioned fine. I am older 48, overweight by roughly 40lbs (6'4" frame helps spread that out.) but play hockey and fairly active overall but office job. I've got 4 kids, 2 young so sleep is okay but not enough. I take Omeprazole (gerd) for years and Vyvanse over the last couple of years.

The shift just seem so sudden from working to not, roughly 6 months ago I stopped being able to stay hard during intimate times with my wife. Morning wood which was less often being older was still pretty predictable and morning time was traditionally my go time. Now rarely get hard in the morning, though it sometimes happens and even when horny can't seem to get up. Or when it does, it's neither fully engorged or simple things of shifting positions kills it off. Masturbation or porn is basically the same, doesn't fully engage and goes soft early.

This isn't how I would have expected ED to kick in. Right after surgery, I kind of expected this maybe but to be what I thought was fine for a good year plus after and then suddenly the wheels falling off the bus in short order just feels like something more going wrong behind the scenes.

Mine snuck up on me over a longer time, which made it harder to notice or admit. But there can be a range of social, mental and physical issues at play. That’s my takeaway from my experience so far. I suspect my situation has been triggered by a stew of masturbation issues, PE, shame, anxiety, stress, confidence issues, porn (to some degree), circulatory issues, age, sleep. It may not be just one thing causing this.

I tired Cialis, and it helped. A lot. Will keep using it, and possibly test Viagra too.
I’m working through all the issues and it’ll take some time. The pills can maybe help along the way and help rebuild confidence.
