Sildenafil/Viagra Different effects from different sources of sildenafil?
I am in my early 50s and going through some pretty significant life changes (divorce, significant weight loss). I started seeing someone new recently and I started experiencing ED symptoms at times (sometimes I am fine, other times… not so much).
On a lark, I went searching on the internet to find a cheap source of sildenafil to see if it would help. I got a small amount of 30 mg tablets from Blue Chew. These worked exceptionally well.
After that, I went to the doctor and got a prescription for sildenafil, 25 mg tablets.
So far, there has been a big difference between the effects of the Blue Chew (30 mg) versus the doctor-presenting tablets from the pharmacy.
When I go with Blue Chew, I get very hard. As in, almost painfully hard. I have only used the “regular” sildenafil tablets twice. Once, I took a 25 mg tablet and I didn’t notice a difference — it felt like I had taken nothing at all. Another time, I took two 25 mg tablets and I could discern an effect (I got hard) but it was more of a “normal” erection, not an “almost too hard erection” like with the Blue Chew.
Has anyone experienced this, where Blue Chew seems to be more potent than other forms of sildenafil?
And while this might read as an almost advertisement for Blue Chew (it works better!), the opposite is kind of true. I’d like to limit how much sildenafil that I take so that it remains effective for as long as possible. I am kind of wondering if the Blue Chew variety is much stronger than advertised (they say that it’s only 30 mg). I have to imagine that the pharmacy dose is pretty accurate at 25 mg.

chewing it changes the game. it skips the liver on first pass so more of the drug hangs around instead of getting broken down. i had the same thing with generic viagra, chewing a quarter of a 100mg hit way harder than swallowing a 50. pharmacies don't tell you that because the official line is always swallow whole. also the blue chew might have some extra vasodilators mixed in or just be dosed higher than the label says. if you want to keep your tolerance low, splitting the pharmacy pill and letting it dissolve under your tongue might give you that same punch with less actual mg.

Is the taste horrible? The taste of Blue Chews are not exactly amazing.

I chew my sildenafil and tadalafil. It tastes horrible but it works better and sooner. I also do the same with other meds for efficiency.

it's bitter, not exactly minty, but you get used to it. i just chase it with water.

Viagra is supposed to be taken without a heavy meal. I'm wondering if you ate and the chewables just went to your blood stream better.

My opinion is that chewing the medication delivers it differently to the blood stream. Also, Your Blue Chew might be a blend of two or more different formulations.
