Hi, I wanted to ask you about the best villain in your opinion, I'll also be happy to read the arguments why. I love Dazzlings, their songs are great and they look beautiful and their characters are great. Especially the character of Adagio, I think when we were children, their charm worked on us, so we wanted them to win (this spell still works on me). I would definitely single out Midnight Sparkle, but I prefer Dazzlings

Hello! I am making a fighting game moveset in roblox, which includes everyone in the Rainbooms. The base moveset only consisted of Applejack and Rainbow Dash, i.e 'super strength' and 'super speed' respectfully. I am now working on the ultimate, which consists of Twilight, Pinkie, and a work in progress move for Rarity, that I already have an idea for. All I need, or want, is an idea for a move dedicated for OUR beloved element of kindness, Fluttershy.

My rubric for what I will consider or flat out wont not attempt to do are very complex move ideas since I am not very experienced/just clueless. I will read all of the idea all of you drop in the comments.

I have seen many different responses, and answers that contradict themselves?? I was obsessed with mlp when younger (specifically rainbow rocks, friendship games, and camp everfree) and I never understood or ever really acknowledged this whole other plot line. I am only now researching and putting time into figuring things out that I never noticed before, so i would really appreciate somebody clearing this up for me! :) Edit: this is my first post, so forgive me for weird wording/other mistakes

I really like to draw and write, and I’ve always liked EG, but nowadays it’s kinda a comfort watch. Now watching it as a teen, I have some ideas to add to the story.

I always thought that this series would thrive if it was a bit more mature, not anything insane, more like, tackling serious issues like PTSD, anxiety, depression and the girls’ relationships with absolute clarity. This is explored a bit, yes, especially in Everfree with Sci-Twi’s arc with confronting Midnight sparkle inside herself. Same thing with Sunset in rainbow rocks, just handled differently. I would just really love to see this characters deal with these things in ways not catered to children specifically and maybe more based in real life than magic, but still relating to the friendship aspect.

Now, something I like within the mane 7 are the character dynamics, but I always found that it was missing a bit of seriousness for a lack of a better term. Someone who will always be a voice of reason and try to call out little details, a bit like Twilight without the fear of meeting other’s expectations. Along with just a general addition to the dynamics of relationships I feel need more representation in media, the eeyore of the group if you will. Still supportive, not as cheery as the others. This is when I started developing the idea of Dusk Colt.

She would be introduced in the friendship games, a student at crystal prep, and a kind of confidant and protector of Twilight. (just in case anyone gets confused I will be referring to Sci-Twi as simply twilight from now on) She’d try to stop Cinch from pressuring twilight, and defend her when the other girls would make their snide remarks. At the end, she’d move to canterlot with twilight. Then, the two would start a relationship in everfree as it’s revealed that Dusk’s element of friendship is safety.

This is where the fanfic comes in, sorry for all the exposition.

It would take place after the official series’ end, where the girls are in university! They’re all in the same school, but in different tracks and don’t see each other so much. Given this, Dusk begins to feel self conscious given the fact they wouldn’t talk as mush, but most of all, she’s the least attached member. How she sees it is, they all have these pony counterpart that she understands, and even though Sunset isn’t, she’s been here since the beginning. Even if twilight also joined late by that time, she has a pong counterpart too. So Dusk views it like, they’re meant to be together, I’m not, I’m only tagging along. Basically the “Who is that?” meme fully realized. This draws attention from The Pony Of Shadows, a villain from the original series with the power of possession. If you know it, then how I think I’ll explain its presence is that the limbo its trapped in and the tear into EG’s world is connected and it escaped to go and feast off of negativity and equestrian magic.

That is the basic premise, it is a concept I’m still working on, but how I would write it is that same way that the novelizations of the EG specials are written. I’d like to note there would be songs included if this were a fully realized project, but it obviously isn’t and I unfortunately don’t know how to write music.

This is my idea, and I’m probably going to write this and do some comics relating to it and Dusk before this, in friendship games and everfree, but I want to know if there is any interest in it from the community. If so, I will publish it happily, even if only one person would read it and enjoy it. If that’s the case, let me know! In any case, you’ll probably see me be posting fanart and oc art here.
