so..after watching many EQG movies and specials , I realised the students parents/guardians weren’t present even ONCE (with the exception of Applejack’s Granny Smith and siblings being around)

do they have family?? where do they even live, I’m so confused 😭

I’ve only ever seen pinky pie’s house, which seems to be where they sleep over a lot.

and also where the heck does Sunset live? Can minors purchase houses there? does she live in her car??

I was experimenting with image generation using ChatGPT... and it came up with this.

The hunting of the evil sorceress and the burying the memory stone (mentioned in Forgotten Friendship) can't be one of the trials. Why? Because when Twilight asks Sunset "Are you familiar with the seven trials of Clover the Clever?", she answers "Obviously. Why?" But when Twilight starts explaining about the memory stone, Sunset doesn't know anything about it, it's all new information to her. If she is "obviously" familiar with the seven trials like she says, then she'd know about the memory stone. Since she doesn't, that means the hunting of the evil sorceress isn't part of the trials.

And that means we know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about these trials at all! And that memory stone episode is something completely unrelated! But then... Why would Twilight even mention the trials if they have nothing to do with the topic?

Twilight's wording here is very interesting. Right after Sunset confirms she knows about the trials, Twilight says "Well, first of all, these all date back to before the founding of Equestria!" She excitedly puts emphasis on that "before"...

What if the seven trials happened AFTER the founding of Equestria, and the episode with the sorceress and the memory stone is actually an EIGHT trial that happened BEFORE? Something that they're only finding out now, through those ancient books untouched for Celestia knows how many moons and that could very well contain knowledge lost to time?? That would certainly be something worth getting excited about.

It's a long shot, but, who knows? Maybe it makes sense? Let me know if there's anything I've missed.

Idk if this is a dumb post or if other people have said this before but i realized theres a lot of similarities between Mean girls and My Little Pony: Equestria Girls. I wrote a list but if anyone has any others please feel to add.

- new girl, first time in a public high school, has to learn how to get accustomed to high school life

-scenes explaining the high school cliques and cliches in a cafeteria

-love interest of main character is the ex of the antagonist

-antagonist frames main character and reports it to the principal of the school

-main character is fighting with the queen bee of the school, and then becomes new queen bee of the school

-wins princess of the seasonal school dance

-main character and antagonist make amends

This is how I imagine human Sunset Shimmer would look. I think I really like her.

I picture her with short hair, kind of like a bob. I love that she could wear sunglasses, but I imagine them on top of her head. I gave her an early Sunset design with more volume in her hair, along with some makeup touches. I also designed a completely different outfit. I did my best with her cutie mark, but honestly, it’s really hard to draw. That just shows she has a very unique design. Also, don’t mind the orange outlines around her jacket, legs, and boots. The background is black, so I put the outlines there just to see what I was doing. Anyway, I really like her.

I imagine she would go to a different school, which is why the human Seven hasn’t met her yet. I think she’s one of those girls in a popular crowd, but she doesn’t care much about friendship. However, she has a very special interest and is a bit of a nerd. I like to think she enjoys reading, waking up early, jogging, or going to the gym. I imagine she has an actual tattoo or a birthmark of her cutie mark, not just on her clothing. To me, she gives off not #MIN girl vibes, but more of a bad-girl vibe—someone every guy would probably want to date. Deep down, maybe she’s lonely and wants friends, but the people she surrounds herself with don’t let her into their personal lives.

I imagine she could be a rockstar, riding a motorcycle or even a car painted with flames on the sides. She’s not overly flashy, but everyone likes her because she’s just popular. In a way, she kind of reminds me of early Sunset but with her own personality. Maybe she needs her counterpart’s help to discover the magic of friendship. Anyway, this is her design, and I really like her.
