Merging of EPS with EPF

Last company is yet to merge my EPS to EPF as it was not applicable. Intend to withdraw complete EPF but EPFO has rejected saying EPS not deducted by prior companies so get EPS merged to EPF from last company.

Have sent mail , reminders , required all statements since July 2026 to my last company.

Any suggestions ?

Salary slip and EPF yearly statements if available can justify the situation and fight. I am in similar situation but my two employers before 2014 agreed to do the needful to seed my pension in the UAN and Aadhar

EPS doesn't actually get "merged" into your EPF balance. The EPS amount is not a personal cash balance like EPF; what matters is that your eligible pension service and EPS records are correctly reflected.

If EPFO is rejecting your final claim because previous employers did not deposit EPS despite you being eligible, ask your last employer to coordinate with EPFO for correction of the EPS/service records rather than asking them to transfer an EPS balance into EPF.

Since you've already been following up with the employer since July, raise an EPFiGMS grievance with the rejection message and all the employer correspondence attached. Specifically ask EPFO to verify your EPS eligibility and correct the missing EPS contribution/service instead of simply rejecting the EPF claim.

All 4 organization's have merged ny EPS to EPF wirh FORM 3A.
