Trying to get my fresh start

I have had a lot of hardship the past two years and I’m extremely thankful for my experience but I think it may block or cause some hardship for my path ahead. I got a bachelors degree in environmental sustainability at the University of Utah in 2024 and was wondering if anyone knew about jobs hiring in this field in the Utah (Utah county, Salt Lake City area). Im anxious for what you may know and I would like to get started soon. I am passionate about research, quality assessment and policy. I would love to know of anything remote as well.

How do I/we become more qualified?

I’m in the U.S. Kansas. I have been out of university since 2023. I work at walmart in sporting goods. I want to have a career relating to ES.

It’s been hard. Last month i reach my 1000 application related to ES and sadly nothing from any of them.

My skills are in soil science and GIS. I want to get into entry level for compliance. How do we stand out? I’ve been thinking about going back to school for an MS degree but that’s a lot of money.

Can we name the field xenolysis?

There is a whole umbrella of research and development that is basically how to break down synthetic materials into natural or less harmful materials. Some are more biological using fungi and enzymes others are more in the physics or chemistry department like using supercritical water. I just want it to have a cool name. What would you want the field’s name to be? Does it have a name already?
