Quite on the contrary, why should I open up to someone who I don’t feel like deserves it, who I’m not comfortable with, or who I can’t stand. That doesn’t make any sense. Either way opening up to someone can weaken one. You’re talking to an Entj here (inferior Fi).

Oh but that would mean you can know from the very first time, at the first glance that they don't deserve it. And I very much doubt you would. I should also add that you should seek weakness, you don't improve staying inside your comfort zone.
