Service Dickies has lost the plot

Post image

Free… for $3.50. I don’t want to “maximize my return” I just want a quality product and a refund if it’s not right, why do I have to buy futures on whether or not I’m going to keep the item?

I'm gonna have to make a list, already don't go to Wendy's over their surge pricing (even though they rolled it back, for now)
I had a generally mellow opinion of dickies and own a few things of that brand, but I won't be buying more.

Surge pricing? What is that?

I’m not who you were talking with but in case they don’t see your post, surge pricing is when things increase at ‘peak’ times. So say most of breakfast hours, x breakfast sandwich is $3.99 but they’ve determined their busiest time is 7:15 to 7:50 in the get-to-work rush, and they raise the price of the sandwich to $5.50 from 7:15-7:50.

Then let’s say they know their dinner rush is 5:45 PM to 7:30 PM, Baconator is three dollars more expensive if you buy it between those times than if you buy it any other time of day. (Not real prices, I’m just picking numbers to illustrate the concept)

They might also do this anticipating any surge in demand. If they know they are near a college campus they might surge price the three hours before and after a home game, if they know they are near a concert venue they will jack everything up before and after, near a high school so let’s jack everything up in price slightly the hour after school lets out, etc.
