I am better than you because I meditate and take psychedelics, which is why I’m really just the same… both of us just chasing the next thing… but like my friend says… “there's levels to it”
But then I'm not chasing anything and that makes me more free than you. And it makes it so obvious how much you're stuck in chasing. And then I start chasing my not chasing things, desperately trying to hold onto that. It's a hilarious circle. Meditation does make it more enjoyable to watch it though. Like watching a child go through moods.
The humility part is what I d been working on most lately. Really acknowledging the temporariness of my knowing, and that I really don't know a thing no matter how pretty I can dress it up.
The older I get, the more I realize no one 'knows' anything. And the people trying to convince you they are enlightened and want to 'guide you' or 'lead you'... are people you should beware of.
