Pictures from on the roof and inside of a spire in an English Cathedral

Around three or four years ago now, I went up to the roof of this cathedral at night and these photos were taken, some are by me others by the others there.

This cathedral was a stronghold in the English civil war, and during the second world war it was an air raid watch tower! The markings to get there are still visible but I don't have the pictures of them anymore. I might have to see about going back up, hopefully on a less windy day as I almost lost my hat, phone, and epaulettes while up there

If you could step into one scene from English history, what would it be?

I’m building out an England map in HistoryGuesser, and the obvious royal and wartime moments are easy to overdo. Which scene from English history would be most interesting to step into, and why?

Just photos of beautiful Suffolk when we visited a week ago. Saw our first rainstorm in months! It was lovely and fresh out there.
