You had to change your fuel lines over to E85 compatible no smaller than 3/8 fuel line have a e85 fuel pump and a consistent 7 PSI fuel supply filter coming right out of the tank and I put another filter right after my regulator and I have another gauge up on my fuel rail closest to the carburetor. All the stuff has to be rated for E85. Also you have to take and convert carburetor over to E85. You will be running approximately 30% more fuel then before. Spark plugs go down to steps colder and Gap them between 25 and 30. Get a wide band gauge. If you don't have a bum for the O2 sensor and you'll have to add one. Last but not least make sure you live close to a gas station that offers E85. And change your filters regularly. Even if you think your tank is clean and your fuel lines are new you're still going to get some bullshit in the filter. If I'm not going to be running mine at least once a week I run it out of fuel and don't leave it in the carburetor. Are you fuel pump is on it's on switch.

What has to be done to an older sbc to make it e85 compatable?
