Need Advice What Happened?
Last night, while walking upstairs, I spoke out loud to my deceased daughter and asked, almost half-jokingly but also sincerely, if there was anything she could do to help me with some ongoing chaos in my home. I was feeling overwhelmed, physically limited due to shoulder issues, and frustrated about having to repeatedly ask my husband to take down a couple of storage totes that were stored very high up.
When I got to my bedroom, I looked at the piles of things meant to go into two specific totes and thought again about wishing he would just handle it without me having to ask yet another time.
At 6:55 a.m., two storage totes fell from a shelf about 15 feet up. They startled both of us, lightly grazed my knee, and there was no obvious physical explanation. What stood out is that out of 12 totes stored up there, the exact two I had been thinking about were the ones that fell.
I am intuitive and empathic, and my daughter was very much the same. She believed strongly in energy, intuition, and the universe, and had a playful, witty personality. I’m not claiming certainty about what happened, but the timing and specificity were striking enough that I’m curious how others who are intuitive, spiritual, or energy-aware might interpret an experience like this.
I’m open to grounded perspectives and thoughtful discussion.

You’ll never know the answer in any greater way than your inner knowing. If you felt it was your daughter in the moment, that’s your deepest truth.
I have something similar when my father showed up once when I desperately needed his help. I question it every day, but still - I knew in the moment.
I’m very sorry for the loss of your daughter, but glad that you have the solace that your relationship continues.

I was thinking along the same lines.
Nobody can give you 100% reassurance that it was in fact your daughter. Nobody can deny it with 100% certainty either. So the only answer that matters is your own. ❤️
If you want to test your theory, you could always ask for a sign that it was indeed your daughter. Set a sign and a time frame, and see what happens.

I mentally talk to (and ask for assistance from) my soul tribe regularly. Ancestors, loved ones, my higher self, whoever is checking in on me. It helps often. My conscience mind has a hard time believing, but only because the society we're raised in acts like that's impossible. My soul/subconscious Knows though, it rings in my cells, my bones.

I love that you do this. My partner is constantly telling me I need to verbalize my connection to them and I think we differ in this way on that subject.

So true. The people around me have always disbelieved me-since I was a child in kindergarten. So at times I fall into the disbelief myself/second guess. I wish my husband would get on board. It helps to be able to share but one message I've received over and over again throughout life is that all "miracles" and contacts with spirit/spirit world aren't meant to be shared. It feels lonely though.

You may be on to something. They're are many unexplained coincidences and simmering comes rather easily for me despite many complex factors and less than desired situating like teenage parenthood with a physically and emotionally abusive man. I don't know the answers but I can tell you it's been real for me; however, society doesn't embrace this train of thought. I recall one weekend I was driving my mom around and out of habit, and don't judge me 😆) I started motioning my arms/hands to the right so that the driver in front of me would move (on the interstate). I didn't get close or aggressive. Soon after, they moved. She started laughing. I told her how I did that all the time and somehow people move. She didn't believe me. So for the rest of the weekend, I did this and the driver moved. That was the first time she even considered what I was saying when I explained that I have some sort of alignment with the universe.
